Shaft II

The Role
-As part of the site operational group, shaft operations you will be responsible for:
-Operating, inspecting and maintaining the main cage and skip conveyance.
-Preparing equipment and materials to be moved to/from the underground using slings and rigging.
-Operating equipment such as Telehandlers and skid steer loader.
-Working with a diverse workforce (Cameco employees, contractors, and trades personnel).

Required:  
-grade 12 diploma, or equivalent;
-a minimum of four years of underground mining industry experience;
-a minimum of three years of mine shaft maintenance experience;
-willing to work in confined spaces;
-able to work at heights using fall arrest;
-excellent communication/computer skills; and
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
