Emphasys Software is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join its growing team. Reporting to the General Manager and serving on the leadership team, the Strategic Account Executive will serve as a primary driver in the company's revenue growth through new customer acquisition and selling into existing accounts.
Emphasys Software Housing Finance (HFA) is the market leader in enterprise technology solutions for the affordable housing industry to help automate their business systems, from financial management to compliance tracking and loan portfolio management. With our product suite - Financials, Single Family, & Multi-Family, we help house low-income families across the country.
Responsibilities
- Become embedded in the housing finance industry and be able to build strong relationships and articulate the value of HFA's solutions to all levels within the customer organization - end users to executives.
- Analyze current market to determine where to best focus sales and marketing efforts for new names and back to base sales.
- Collaborate with product managers and lead generation staff to design and execute a thorough sales strategy, which may include direct sales, campaigns, webinars, account-based marketing, etc.
- Execute the sales strategy to attract prospects, build relationships, influence opportunities, and build a long-term funnel, documenting all relevant information within CRM.
- Own sales opportunities from lead qualification through each stage of the sales cycle, including negotiation and contract execution.
- Meet or exceed established sales metrics.
- Oversee marketing efforts defined in sales strategy and work directly with Lead Generation resource.
- Travel to prospects and customers to conduct discovery, build relationships and present HFA solutions.
- Manage RFP responses, submitting professional and competitive proposals to prospects.
- Manage the preparation, negotiation and execution of multi-year customer contracts.
- Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales activity and revenue achievement.
- Attend Industry conferences to promote solutions and build relationships. Oversee logistics of attendance including sponsorship opportunities, booth placement, and all participation activities.
Qualifications
- Accomplished, high-energy, driven salesperson with minimum 5 years of Enterprise-level technology sales experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25% within the US, including trade shows, industry conferences and on-site company meetings.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships, managing complex sales cycles and successfully building and executing sales strategy.
- Experience working in and managing medium and long (3 months - 2 years) sales cycles.
- High level of independence while demonstrating a willingness to learn/ramp quickly.
- Post secondary education.
- Preferred: Experience selling in housing finance or B2G industry.
