SCHEDULE: 33.45 hours per week, DAY; MONDAY to FRIDAY - 09:00 to 17:00

WORKING MODE: Hybrid

WORK LOCATION: Collection Development CLSDS, 480 BOUL ARMAND-FRAPPIER A/S COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT LAVAL H7V 4B4

Responsibilities

Under the authority of the manager of collection development, you will be called upon to collaborate in the implementation of programs and policies related to the products and services offered by the library. You will coordinate the work of employees assigned to these activities. In addition, you will supervise documentary research activities, selection of documentary resources, information services, and inquiries intended for the concerned staff.

*Please note that according to the collective agreement, this position is titled librarian.

Ideal Profile

  • Hold a master's degree in library science and/or information science;
  • Have two (2) years of experience relevant to the activities described in the summary.
