About The Role

The Director of Product Support is responsible for leading Huron Tractor's enterprise-wide Parts, Service, and Customer Support operations.

This is more than an operational leadership role.

You’ll be responsible for defining the long-term strategy for one of the dealership's most important business functions—ensuring customers receive industry-leading support throughout the lifecycle of their equipment while driving profitability, operational excellence, employee development, and sustainable growth.

Working closely with Store Managers, Sales Management, Precision Agriculture, HR, and Finance, you’ll help shape the future of our aftermarket business by improving customer experience, developing our people, modernizing operations, and positioning Huron Tractor for continued success across all eleven locations.

What You’ll Do

As Director of Product Support, you will:

• Develop and execute Huron Tractor's long-term aftermarket strategy across Parts, Service, and Customer Support.
• Lead enterprise profitability by improving operational performance, customer retention, and recurring revenue.
• Drive initiatives that maximize customer uptime, equipment lifecycle support, and premium service experiences.
• Provide leadership to the Corporate Parts Manager, Corporate Service Manager, and Aftermarket Support Teams while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational consistency across all locations while supporting local flexibility to meet customer needs.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Precision Agriculture, Finance, HR, and Store Managers to deliver an integrated customer experience.
• Lead modernization initiatives including dealership systems, telematics, precision agriculture support, workflow technologies, and digital customer communication tools.
• Use business intelligence, analytics, and performance metrics to guide decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Build succession plans, develop future leaders, and strengthen technician recruitment, apprenticeship, and career development programs.
• Serve as a visible organizational leader who reinforces Huron Tractor's culture, values, and commitment to safety.

What Success Looks Like

During your first year, you'll focus on:

• Developing a long-term strategic roadmap for Product Support.
• Strengthening collaboration between Parts, Service, Sales and Precision Agriculture.
• Improving operational consistency across all eleven locations.
• Increasing customer retention, loyalty, and aftermarket market share.
• Enhancing technician development, leadership succession, and workforce planning.
• Expanding the use of technology and connected support solutions to improve customer responsiveness.
• Identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen financial performance.
• Building a high‑performing leadership team focused on continuous improvement and customer success.

What You Bring

We're looking for an experienced leader who understands both the operational and strategic aspects of a modern dealership.

You have:

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in dealership aftermarket operations, agriculture, heavy equipment, construction, or a related industry.
• Proven success leading multi‑location Parts and Service organizations with full operational and financial accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead organizational growth, operational transformation, and enterprise‑wide initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability, and operational performance.
• Experience developing leaders and building high‑performing teams.
• Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship‑building skills.
• A collaborative leadership style focused on empowering others and delivering results.

Experience within a John Deere dealership, executive leadership in a multi‑location organization, and knowledge of precision agriculture and connected support technologies are considered strong assets.
