Full Time Scheduler

Experience in scheduling software, and data records maintenance

· Performs call-ins to replace staff.

· Experience with scheduling is essential

· Maintains staff scheduling documentation.

· Proficient Computer skills, proficient with micro soft office, Excel spreadsheets, electronic time sheets

· Updates Master time sheet to reflect staffing changes daily.

· Informs Home Area Manager as to all changes in staffing, i.e. Sick calls, Requests for LOA.

· Updates Staffing Cheat sheets daily

· Completes Employee Absenteeism Form and submits to the appropriate Manager.

· Communicates with RPN/RN at end of shift, informing them of staffing issues, instructs RPN to update Assignment Sheet to reflect staffing changes.

· Fluent in English

· Demonstrates respect for privacy and confidentiality.

· Ability to communicate in a professional manner

· Prepare/receives shift report to communicate pertinent information by ensuring an appropriate and effective flow of communication/information between staff on all shifts.

· Customer service minded

· Functions within the confines of relevant legislation, codes, acts, policies, procedures and standards and collective agreements

· Utilizes appropriate documentation skills to maintain records

· Ability to set priorities and be responsive to a challenging and multidisciplinary environment

· Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations, make sound decisions under pressure with constant interruptions

· Responsible and organized individual, capable of performing duties with minimal Supervision

· Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regularly scheduled basis

· Demonstrates active listening skills.

Hours of Work- ON SITE

· Must be available weekends for coverage and scheduled 1 out of 6 weekends

· Must be available for shifts during the week regular scheduled and backup shifts

· Shifts hours include Monday to Friday 0600-2000 hrs, weekends and holidays

· Approximately 15 hours/week however number of hours can vary depending on needs

· need to be available and flexible to cover team members absences
