Natures Crops International Accounts Receivable Assistant
Natures Crops International (NCI), a specialty oils manufacturer and supplier for use in personal care, health supplement, and food industries, has an immediate opening for a permanent, full-time Accounts Receivable Assistantat our location in Kensington, PE. The Accounts Receivable Assistant's primary focus is supporting the day-to-day accounts receivable and administrative activities required by the business. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.
Accounts Receivable Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send sales invoices and account statements to customers.
- Follow up on overdue accounts.
- Bank deposits, processing payments in the accounting system and applying payments to customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments and credits, while ensuring timely and efficient processing of customer invoices and payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to their accounts in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare and send grower seed contracts for signing.
- Invoicing growers for seed contracts.
- Monitor customer accounts and collaborate with the internal team to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors that may arise.
- Support the month-end close process by ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare sales order confirmation requests for new purchase orders.
- Generate aging reports on accounts receivable status.
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office
- Answer phone calls, take messages, greet visitors
- Other responsibilities of the business as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Degree or diploma in business related field preferred and considered an asset
- 2-3 years of administrative assistant or related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Valid driver's license
- Criminal record check
- Training will be provided
Starting wage for this position is $20-$21/hour and includes a competitive benefits package, including a co-pay health and dental benefits plan, wellness benefit and a matching RRSP program.
