Elevate the Student Information Systems team at the University of Waterloo as an Information Systems Specialist focused on operational excellence. This full-time, temporary role is designed for skilled system analysts. Reporting to the Manager of Student Information Systems, your mission is to enhance service delivery and operational processes. You'll document and analyze workflows, encourage cross-functional collaboration, and ensure data consistency across systems. Your capability to harmonize processes and services will directly impact the effectiveness of student services. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and prioritize support tickets to ensure timely resolution
- Liaise with stakeholders on system requirements and solutions
- Support the documentation and analysis of business needs
- Identify system enhancement opportunities for improved efficiency
- Uphold governance and compliance standards in all processes
- University degree or equivalent education
- 5+ years in a Business Systems Analyst or similar position
- Proven knowledge of systems analysis and software development
- Experience using wiki tools like SharePoint
- Strong skills in organization, analysis, and communication
