Lead commercial controls for Hydro One’s strategic projects in Toronto, applying contract oversight and financial forecasting to major construction programs.As Commercial Lead, you will support outsourced Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects exceeding $100 million. Your work covers risk management, contract compliance, change management, forecasting, and commercial reporting. You will help ensure project finances remain accurately reported, controlled, and financially feasible.Key Responsibilities:
Manage contractual and financial risks across major construction projectsImplement change management and project risk strategiesAdvise teams on compliance, claims, variations, and legal mattersPrepare commercial progress reports, forecasts, and business casesReview payments, invoices, contract changes, and contractor pricingRequirements:
8+ years of utilities, power, energy, or related commercial experienceUniversity degree in business, finance, law, engineering, or complementary fieldAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to negotiate with vendors and service providersBring commercial leadership, financial control, and contract management expertise to Hydro One’s strategic construction projects in Toronto.
