Single mom and full-time surgeon looking for a reliable, kind, capable human to help keep our little household running! The main job is caring for my awesome 10-year-old daughter, who is funny, independent, creative, and genuinely one of the easiest kids you'll ever meet. You must also love animals, because our house is... a bit of a zoo. 🐶🐱🐦🐢 The regular schedule... Approximately: Weekdays, 7:00–9:00 a.m. Weekdays, 3:30–5:30 p.m. Tuesday overnight care approximately once per month may be available A driver's licence and reliable vehicle are required, as driving to and from activities is part of the job. What we're looking for... Someone who is: Reliable and punctual Warm, calm, kind, and responsible Comfortable giving a 10-year-old appropriate support / independence Enjoys the company of animals (cats/dog) Able to help with morning and after-school routines and transportation Comfortable staying overnight occasionally Able to communicate clearly and keep a shared schedule up to date Bonus points if you're willing to make school lunches in the morning! There may also be opportunities for additional paid hours doing light household tasks, pet care, errands, or house-sitting, depending on the week. The important part... This is a great job for someone who wants part-time hours and a relatively predictable weekday schedule, without spending all day chasing toddlers. You'd be helping a very busy single mom keep life functioning — and getting to spend time with an excellent kid who will basically run the house for you, with supervision.
