Senior Business Analyst for Financial Crimes

Drive impactful technology solutions as a Senior Business Analyst at EDC, focusing on Financial Crimes and Know Your Customer. Utilize your expertise in business analysis to help mitigate financial risks and enhance compliance processes. At Export Development Canada (EDC), we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with significant experience. This role will leverage your analytical skills to connect business subject-matter experts with technology delivery teams, ensuring compliance with financial crime regulations. Your contributions will directly support EDC’s mission to empower Canadian businesses globally. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead analysis for complex initiatives and clarify business problems
- Elicit and manage business, functional, and regulatory requirements
- Document user journeys and current and future-state processes
- Facilitate workshops with various stakeholders to drive decisions
- Support testing and implementation processes for technology solutions
- Degree in business, technology, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in Business Analyst roles
- Experience in financial services and KYC regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools
