Aerospace System Safety Engineer

Apply aerospace safety engineering expertise to complex safety-critical systems at LGM North America, supporting design, assessment, and validation activities.As an Aerospace System Safety Engineer, you will lead RAMS safety activities for major aerospace projects. Your work includes FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, FTA, and CCA, alongside safety requirements, architecture assessment, and certification support. You will also guide engineers and coordinate contributors.Key Responsibilities:
Define safety analysis approaches, scopes, inputs, deliverables, and review criteriaPerform and review FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, FTA, and CCADefine safety requirements and verify their design implementationAssess architectures and recommend risk mitigation measuresPrepare safety reports and support customer certification reviewsRequirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant engineering disciplineMinimum three years of aerospace system safety experienceHands-on experience with complex-system safety assessmentsStrong command of ARP4754 and ARP4761 revisionsUnderstanding of DO-178C and DO-254 interfacesBring aerospace safety assessment, RAMS leadership, and clear technical communication to LGM North America’s complex systems projects.
