Therapeutic Specialist, Virology, Montreal and surrounding

AbbVie seeks a Therapeutic Specialist for its Virology division in Montreal to drive sales performance and execute brand strategy across a defined territory. The role combines field sales with relationship building and market intelligence gathering to support business objectives in infectious disease.
Responsibilities
- Execute call plans targeting key customers to achieve sales metrics and coverage objectives
- Develop pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations to improve performance continuously
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers while addressing objections and closing sales
- Identify and develop disease state experts and speaker advocates to maximize brand impact
- Gather and share market intelligence regarding competitors, customer needs, and territory dynamics with management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science, or equivalent
- Minimum two years specialty pharmaceutical sales experience in Quebec
- Advanced proficiency in French and English, written and oral
- Proven sales track record with strong presentation skills
- In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge
- Valid driver's license and passport; willingness for occasional overnight travel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with various business systems
