Director Strategy Transformation Governance

Lead transformation portfolio governance and analytical decision support as Manulife’s Director, Strategy and Transformation, in hybrid Toronto. Build stronger investment discipline across Canada.This director-level role strengthens how the Canada Segment prioritizes, governs, and delivers strategic investments. You will evolve portfolio management and broader PMO capabilities, guide planning, and support senior decisions. The work combines transformation governance, business-case assessment, executive communication, and cross-functional influence.Key Responsibilities:
Lead portfolio prioritization, investment planning, dependencies, and delivery oversightEvolve transformation governance and broader PMO capabilitiesAssess business cases and align resources with strategic prioritiesProvide portfolio insights, recommendations, trade-offs, and performance reportingSurface risks and dependencies while strengthening accountabilityRequirements:
10+ years in transformation, governance, strategy, or portfolio managementStrong executive communication and presentation skillsBusiness judgment to assess cases, risks, dependencies, and trade-offsAbility to translate complexity into executive-ready recommendationsExceptional relationship-building and influencing skillsApply transformation governance, portfolio oversight, analytical judgment, and executive communication to Manulife’s Canada Segment investments.
