Shop Helper

Our Shop Helpers deliver exceptional service to internal/external customers by performing maintenance, set up, & assorted duties for the service dept. In one of Canadas top John Deere dealer organizations you will deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.

Responsibilities
-Perform minor repairs on equipment
-May do pre-delivery inspection, assemble/service all types of equipment
-Assist Service Techs with repairs
-Maintenance, cleaning/tidying duties for all areas of the shop/grounds
-Ensure safety regulations are followed by self & others
-Participate in training to increase skills/knowledge
-Build & maintain constructive co-worker relationships

Requirements
-Positive attitude, willingness to learn
-Mechanically minded, experience performing repairs/maint
-Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, electrical systems an asset
-Farming background/experience an asset
-Familiarity with John Deere & competitive products an asset
-High School Diploma/equivalent
-Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays
