ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER CLASS 2 at CBHSSJB

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
A person who assists one or more professionals or a work team in their administrative and professional duties.

Their primary and regular tasks involve secretarial and office work requiring specific knowledge.

They perform a range of secretarial or office tasks according to established methods or procedures, or they may modify these as needed.

They prepare and type letters and documents. They may sort mail, draft correspondence, and maintain filing systems.

They may also perform tasks within the administrative sector.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Must have completed Secondary V (Secondary 5) and obtained a diploma from a recognized school by the competent ministry.

Knowledge and Abilities:
• Good knowledge of administrative theory, systems, techniques and practice;
• Good working knowledge of computer applications, especially Microsoft Office;
• Be able to work under pressure;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
• Well organized.


LANGUAGE
• Fluent in English and in Cree;
• Fluency in French is an asset.

OTHER
• Be able to work outside regular hours when requested.
