In this senior officer position, you will lead the Sergeant-at-Arms Division to ensure safety within the Legislature. Your role involves directing security services and liaising with law enforcement agencies, along with setting strategic operational plans. The ideal candidate will have a solid law enforcement background and the ability to navigate political environments with tact. Key Responsibilities:
- Secure the Legislative Chamber and its precincts
- Lead the Legislative Protective Service staff
- Uphold ceremonial roles in the legislative process
- Offer strategic security advice to leadership
- Resolve conflicts through negotiation with stakeholders
- At least 10 years of law enforcement experience
- Advanced knowledge in safety management
- Leadership in large event planning and response
- Exceptional communication and diplomatic skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and integrity
