WSP Environmental Field Technician Position
WSP in Canada
Embark on an environmental consulting career with WSP as an Environmental Field Technician in Ottawa. Focus on landfill monitoring, groundwater studies, and field data collection. WSP is on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to strengthen its Earth & Environment team. You will be involved in field assessments, sample collection, and technical support for various environmental projects that protect our planet. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct various environmental assessments and studies
- Collect and analyze water samples in the field
- Support well installation and quality assurance processes
- Organize field programs and monitor water activities
- Ensure accurate data management and documentation
- Environmental Technician diploma or relevant education
- 0-2 years’ experience in the environmental sector
- Experience with environmental sampling preferred
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors year-round under varying conditions
