About the Role
Our client, a vibrant and growing beauty brand, is seeking a creative and results-driven Senior Beauty Copywriter & Content Strategist to lead their content initiatives. This position operates on a hybrid model, allowing for remote work combined with essential on-site collaboration at their offices in Kimberley. You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives across all brand touchpoints, developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy, and ensuring brand voice consistency. The ideal candidate possesses a deep passion for beauty, exceptional writing skills, and a strategic mindset to engage target audiences and drive brand growth. Your work will directly influence brand perception and customer engagement within the Northern Cape market.Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a holistic content strategy across website, social media, email marketing, blog, and advertising campaigns.Write engaging, persuasive, and on-brand copy for product descriptions, website pages, social media posts, ad creatives, and email newsletters.Craft compelling brand stories and narratives that resonate with the target audience.Lead the creation of editorial calendars, ensuring a consistent flow of high‑quality content.Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to translate brand objectives into creative content solutions.Optimize content for SEO and user engagement to drive organic traffic and conversions.Manage and mentor junior copywriters or content creators as the team grows.Conduct competitive content analysis and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.Ensure brand voice, tone, and style guide are consistently applied across all communications.Oversee the editing and proofreading process to maintain exceptional quality standards for all content produced for the Kimberley audience.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in copywriting and content strategy, with a strong focus on the beauty or wellness industry.Proven portfolio showcasing exceptional writing skills across various platforms.Deep understanding of beauty trends, terminology, and consumer behavior.Expertise in SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop comprehensive content plans.Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing independent remote work with team collaboration.Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy relevant to the Northern Cape market.Benefits
