Responsibilities

• Read electricaldiagrams, blueprints and other technical drawings to completeassemblies and installation.
• Position and install components, sub-assemblies and accessories such as engines, transmissions, door panels or control panels using hand and power tools and tools other supports such as overhead winches.
• Adjust and adjust components such as doors, hoods, and trunklids.
• Check motor vehicle exterior primers and coats of paint, sealants and enamels, and evaluate Mark, record and reportdefects that need repair.
• Defects to ensure faults arerectified ted Drive and test motor vehicles on a rollertester to make sure the transmission, axle, motor and brake are ingood working order.

Requirements

• A high schooldiploma is usually required.
• The skills required foroccupations in this unit group are usually acquired throughon-the-job training.
• Migration is possible forjobs within the same production department.
• Experience leadsto supervisory positions.

Terms of Employment:

40 hours perweek
