Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard - Mobile Patrol in Oshawa, Ontario .

Job Title : Security Guard - Mobile Patrol

Type : Part-time

Pay rate : $19.50 - 20.00 per hour

Shifts: Sunday - Thursday 0100-0600

Requirements: G License, Clean Driver's Abstract and 25 years age or above for insurance purposes.

Overview :

We are looking for Security Guard - Mobile Patrol who is tasked with providing constant surveillance, protection, and a visible security presence within the client's site. 

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Mobile Patrols: Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Maintain a visible security presence: Staying stationed at a fixed location within the retail premises to deter theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activities.
• Threat Assessment: Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.

• Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.

• Assist customers and staff : By providing directions, answering safety-related questions, and offering assistance as needed, without disrupting the flow of operations.

• Emergency Response: Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.

REQUIREMENTS :

• G License, Clean Driver's Abstract and 25 years age or above for insurance purposes.
• 1-2 years of experience working in a security sector.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• First Aid and CPR
