- Directly oversee the Controller and finance/accounting team, fostering accountability and professional development.
- Partner cross‑functionally with operations and senior leadership to support organizational objectives and inform business decisions.
- Build scalable financial infrastructure—systems, processes, and reporting—to support continued growth and acquisition integration.
What You Bring
- CPA designation required (CA legacy designation accepted; MBA or CFA considered an asset).
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with 5+ years in an executive finance role (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent).
- Direct experience leading M&A; due diligence, financial modelling, and post‑acquisition integration.
- Proven track record managing complex banking relationships, credit facilities, and capital structures.
- Experience with multi‑entity or multi‑subsidiary financial management and consolidation.
- Background in transportation, logistics, waste management, or environmental services strongly preferred.
- Robust executive presence with the ability to communicate financial strategy clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
