Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Internal Reporting, the Clerk receives, reviews and processes School Generated Funds electronic and manual reports. The successful candidate will correct, process and control the financial data received and reconcile the input with the output.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- receiving, reviewing and uploading School Generated Funds (SGF) QuickBooks electronic data files from schools
- reviewing SGF cash disbursement payments against revenue remittances and identifying revenue discrepancies for the SGF Accountant
- sorting, reviewing and logging the SGF month end reports - trial balance, general journal, cash disbursements EPSB payments and bank reconciliation reports received from schools and communicating with schools and school accountants regarding missing reports
- maintaining the filing system for School Generated Funds
- maintaining a log of SGF electronic and hard copy reports and documents received and processed
- entering SGF adjustments into eBiz SGF general ledger
Education/Qualifications
- post secondary training in a relevant course of study
- a minimum of two years of related experience
- excellent technical skills using Word, Excel and Google Worksheets
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- proficient data entry skills
- ability to process a high volume of work within a short timeframe
Rate of Pay
$22.64 - $28.70 per hour
