Do you love to cook? Are you passionate about food? As a Cook on our Food Services Team at the Romeo Leblanc International Airport, you’ll help bring recipes to life while being able to flex your creativity!
Aramark operates the post-security Tim Horton's and the Altitude Bistro/Pub at the Romeo Leblanc International Airport. The Cook will assist both the Bistro/Pub and the Tim Hortons.

Job Responsibilities
- Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
- Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
- Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
- Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
- May assist team members with preparing sandwiches and drinks as needed
- May assist with serving guests as needed
- May assist with processing guest transactions, using the POS machine
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years culinary experience
- Experience working for food service franchise considered an asset
- Fluency in both French and English an asset
- Valid WHMIS and Food Safe (Basic or Advanced), First Aid Certification is an asset
- Knowledge of and commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Additional certification may be required by work location
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervised
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
This is a full-time, permanent position. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00.
