Capgemini seeks a Senior Migration Scheduler to lead large-scale mainframe migrations to IBM Z Workload Scheduler. This high-impact position requires deep technical knowledge and effective cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will be instrumental in migrating batch scheduling workloads by analyzing legacy platforms like CA-7 and executing iterative cycles. Your expertise will help monitor workload execution, create documentation, and address migration challenges with technical guidance. Communication skills are vital as you interact with application developers and project managers. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee migration of batch workloads to IBM IZWS
- Analyze and translate legacy scheduling into IZWS
- Execute iterative migration cycles with tracking
- Identify workload issues and implement solutions
- Support operations through Dynamic Workload Console
- 5+ years of mainframe experience in z/OS
- 5+ years of IBM Z Workload Scheduler knowledge
- High proficiency in TSO/ISPF tools
- Expert in Job Control Language (JCL)
- REXX scripting experience for efficiency
