We’re a busy family on Pelee Island looking for a reliable, flexible and hardworking person to become an extra set of hands in both our home and our family cleaning business, Pelee Pros. This is a varied role combining childcare, household help and professional cleaning. The best way to describe it is that we all work as a team—rotating between the kids, the house and the business depending on what needs to be done. You won’t be solely responsible for the kids or household; we’ll all pitch in, switch off and fill in the gaps for each other. At home, that might mean spending time with the kids, laundry, dishes, tidying and organizing, or preparing simple meals and snacks. We love cooking and baking with our kids, doing crafts, being outside and exploring the Island, and would love someone who enjoys those things too. Other days, you may work alongside our Pelee Pros team cleaning cottages, vacation rentals and homes around the Island. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys kids, has childcare experience, takes pride in cleaning and organizing, and can see what needs doing and jump in. Reliability and flexibility are really important to us. For someone interested in Island life, a live-in arrangement with a private bedroom in our family home, and use of our family vehicle can also be discussed.
