Remote Portfolio Controller at WeCommerce
WeCommerce Holdings Ltd.
WeCommerce seeks a skilled Portfolio Controller to enhance our remote finance team. This role emphasizes full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for various portfolio companies. As a critical addition to our innovative financial team, the Portfolio Controller will report to the Director of Finance. You will thrive in a dynamic environment while demonstrating expertise in accounting fundamentals, financial statement preparation, and strategic analysis. Your ability to think critically and solve complex problems will directly impact our operational success. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting for multiple portfolio companies
- Prepare annual and quarterly financial statements
- Develop forecasts and perform strategic analyses
- Collaborate on budget processes for portfolio companies
- Ensure compliance with statutory remittances and filings
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with CPA designation
- 4+ years experience in similar roles
- Strong proficiency in Excel and remote work capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with senior management
- Passion for ongoing learning and professional growth
