Help Raise Three Amazing Girls: Adventure Nanny & Family Assistant (Updated August 29, 2026)

Our family is looking for an exceptional person to become an important part of our lives. This is much more than a nanny position. It's an opportunity to help raise three kind, curious, energetic girls (ages 5, 9, and 11) who love learning, reading, creating, exploring, sports, and spending time outdoors. We're looking for someone who will become a trusted mentor, role model, and teammate as they grow into confident, capable young women. Our family values kindness, curiosity, respect, responsibility, and a healthy balance between independence and support. We're searching for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships with children, encourages them to think for themselves, and brings warmth, energy, and reliability into everyday family life. Because I work as a physician, my schedule includes hospital shifts during the day, evenings, and overnight. We're looking for someone who can provide dependable support that helps our household run smoothly while ensuring the girls feel safe, cared for, and well supported. No two weeks are exactly alike. Some days you'll drive the girls to school, greet them after school, help with homework, prepare dinner, or head outside for a bike ride or a trip to the park. Other times you'll provide overnight care while I'm working at the hospital, giving the girls the comfort of waking up with someone they know and trust. What you'll do:

• Safely drive the girls to and from school as scheduled.
• Provide before- and after-school care.
• Provide overnight care while I am working overnight hospital shifts.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks.
• Help with homework and encourage curiosity and a love of learning.
• Plan fun, creative, and outdoor activities during non-school days.
• Help keep the children's bedrooms, play areas, and shared spaces tidy and organized.
• Assist with children's laundry and light household tasks.
• Be a positive, dependable adult presence in the girls' lives.

Qualifications:

• Previous childcare experience is required.
• Experience as a nanny, teacher, educational assistant, early childhood educator, youth worker, or similar role is highly valued.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's licence with a safe driving record.
• Criminal record check.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Position Details:

• Part-time with the potential for additional hours.
• Located in the North Okanagan.
• Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
• Morning school drop-offs, afternoon pick-ups, and overnight shifts as required.
• Mileage reimbursed when using your own vehicle for transporting the children.
