MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE TO CLIENTS HOME IN RICHMOND HILL AND VAUGHAN. CAR IS A MUST !
URGENT HIRING FOR FILIPINO SPEAKING CAREGIVER

- Must have a valid certificate for PSW, HCA Or foreign trained nurse
- Must have a car to travel independently to clients home anywhere in Vaughan and Richmond hill
- Currently enrolled in Caregiver or Nursing education
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
- Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
- Negative TB test (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
- Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19
- 2 Professional references
- CPR certification
- Cell phone with data and understanding of how to access email and utilize online applications softwares. (Nurse Next Door uses AlayaCare Monitoring System for team members to log in and out of shifts. It is also used to check client notes and task for caregivers.)
- Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset.
- Have a valid SIN and eligibility to work in Canada.
- Italian, Greek speaking caregiver Or having experience taking care of family /culture. Being bilingual is an asset.
- Having a vehicle/valid driver license is required.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is an asset
- Experience with Mechanical Lifts and Transfers
- Experience with individuals with Dementia and/or Alzheimer's
- Experience caring for individuals with limited to no mobility
- Attendance & Reliability
- AMS - Attendance Monitoring System (AlayaCare)
- NPS; Client Score of 10
