Through the merger and acquisition, Cryopeak will be the largest private, vertically integrated, LNG producer and service provider in Canada.

: As a Project Engineer at Cryopeak, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and commissioning our LNG systems. Your primary objective will be to ensure our systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently, and safely. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve company objectives and drive success. The Project Engineer contract role can be located in either Calgary or Vancouver. The term for this role is one year.

Position: Project Engineer | Full-time Contract - One Year Term (Monday - Friday)

Compensation: $85,000-$120,000

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Experience and Proficiencies:

• Professional Engineer with 3-5 years of experience managing multiple projects (preferred)
• Experience in an EPCM environment (asset)
• Understanding of applicable Canadian Codes and regulations
• CAD and drafting experience (asset)

Certifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related disciplines.

Location: Applicants residing in the Calgary region are preferred.

• Ability to travel to customer sites if required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new LNG equipment and systems.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, control, and instrumentation design and documentation.
• Lead engineering responses in the permitting phase of projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and codes.
• Detail specifications for procurement and scope of work for contractors.
• Conduct various procurement functions when required.
• Create operation manuals and input into commissioning and test plans.
• Ensure safe and efficient commissioning on customer sites.
• Provide customer support and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
