We are looking for motivated accounting students who are eager to learn, develop professionally, and gain meaningful hands-on experience in public accounting. At O’Keefe Accounting Group, interns are given the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, build practical skills, and gain exposure to a wide variety of client work in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This position is ideal for students pursuing or planning to pursue their CPA designation.

Internship Opportunities Available

As an intern with our firm, you will gain practical experience across tax, assurance, accounting, and client services while working closely with experienced CPAs and team members. We believe in providing students with meaningful practical experience that supports both professional growth and the pursuit of the CPA designation.

Gain Hands-On Experience In

- Assisting with audit, review, and compilation engagements

- Preparing financial statements in accordance with ASPE and ASNPO standards

- Working with personal, corporate, and HST tax returns

- Supporting bookkeeping and accounting functions using QuickBooks, Sage, CaseWare, and TaxCycle

- Participating in client engagements and real-world accounting processes

- Developing knowledge of assurance, accounting, and tax standards

Internship Details

- Office Location: 25 King Street East, Cobourg, Ontario

- Competitive compensation starting at $24/hour

- Flexible scheduling available to support academic commitments when possible

- Opportunity to gain experience across multiple areas of public accounting
