On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for an Enterprise Architect: PeopleSoft & ERP Strategy to join our Client’s team on a contract basis. This role is Hybrid and the Client is based in Richmond, BC .
Summary of the Role
The Enterprise Architect will lead the development and evolution of architecture strategies supporting enterprise applications, with a strong focus on PeopleSoft and related ERP platforms. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, this role will establish architectural direction, guide technology investments, and ensure solutions align with organizational objectives across Finance and People & Culture functions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts, roadmaps, and solution blueprints aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the architectural vision and technology strategy for a portfolio of Finance and People & Culture products and services.
- Collaborate with product managers, operational teams, and stakeholders to define product architectures, interfaces, and deployment models.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable, and value-driven technology solutions.
- Evaluate technology options and vendor proposals, providing recommendations based on business value, risk, and return on investment.
- Guide the development of shared services, technical enablers, and architectural runway initiatives.
- Support governance activities to ensure technology investments generate business value while mitigating risk.
- Provide architectural leadership and design guidance to delivery teams, product owners, and subject matter experts.
Core Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM discipline.
- 6–9 years of directly related experience, including at least 4 years defining application portfolios or designing large-scale enterprise software solutions.
- Hands‑on experience with PeopleSoft and/or major ERP platforms such as Oracle or SAP.
- Experience supporting Finance and/or Human Resources (People & Culture) business functions.
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps, and solution architectures.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience leading architecture initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise application integration and deployment architectures.
- Experience evaluating and selecting enterprise technology solutions and vendors.
- Familiarity with technology governance frameworks and architectural best practices.
- Experience working within large public sector or similarly complex organizations.
Terms
This is a 12‑month contract opportunity scheduled to begin in July 2026. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of three days per week onsite in Richmond, BC. A background check and professional reference verification will be required as part of the offer process.
