What You'll Be Doing Onboard

As a Porter Flight Attendant, your primary mission is the safety and well-being of every passenger on board. But beyond that, you'll be the reason our guests remember their flight for all the right reasons. From the moment they step onto the aircraft, you'll deliver friendly, attentive service that feels effortless yet polished. You'll follow the standard operating procedures learned in training, remaining fully aligned with Transport Canada regulations and Porter's own high standards. The role asks for physical readiness too - think lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and being prepared to assist passengers calmly during emergency situations. You'll also be the person who keeps a watchful eye on the cabin environment, making small but meaningful adjustments that enhance either safety or passenger comfort. Whether it's tactfully managing an unexpected delay or simply ensuring the cabin feels inviting, you'll be the one making it happen.

What We're Looking For

• A valid Canadian passport OR a valid international passport accompanied by an up-to-date US Crewmember Visa (C-1/D).
• At least 19 years of age by the time of employment.
• A high school diploma.
• Mandatory fluency in both French and English, written and spoken.
• A minimum of two years of public-facing customer service experience—roles where you've developed genuine connections with people.
• The ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and successfully complete our background check process.
• Good health meeting required medical standards, including passing alcohol and drug testing.
• Readiness to complete a five to six-week full-time training program with 100% attendance, and pass all written and practical evaluations.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, along with a safety-first mindset and the ability to work independently when needed.
• Flexibility to work a rotating standby/on-call schedule (including weekends, holidays, evenings, and nights). Schedules are assigned through a seniority-based online bidding system. The ability to be airport-ready within two hours of being called for flight duties.
