Technical Support Engineer for CFM56 at FTAI

Join FTAI Aviation in Montreal as a Propulsion Engineer specializing in CFM56 engine maintenance. Provide critical technical support and foster collaboration across engineering projects. As a key team member, you will deliver hands-on engineering solutions for CFM56 engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities. This role requires you to address technical issues, oversee engine strip/build processes, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Your contribution will ensure the integrity and efficiency of engine operations while adhering to delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist production teams with CFM56 engine strip and build
• Guide powerplant engineers on technical scopes and adjustments
• Review engineering findings and align with turnaround goals
• Communicate technical information to OEM and stakeholders
• Support warranty and quality investigations through analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or engineering discipline
• Approximately 5 years of engine maintenance experience
• Knowledge of applicable aviation regulations
• Familiarity with engine ATA 72 components
• Bilingual in French and English, strong analysis skills
