About SoloSquid SoloSquid is a professional services firm that works with enterprise clients to deploy, optimize, and maintain advanced security systems and build custom integrations when off-the-shelf solutions aren’t enough. We bridge the gap between what traditional security integrators deliver and what modern enterprise environments need.

We’re growing and looking for a skilled technical person who wants to move beyond the “box and cable” world into high-value enterprise problem-solving. Someone who knows their way around Genetec Security Center and can confidently work with clients to deliver solid results.

Who This Role is For

• You’re a mid- to senior-level technician or technical specialist with experience in enterprise security systems .
• You enjoy troubleshooting , solving challenging technical problems, and working directly with customers .
• You’re looking to grow beyond break/fix work into project delivery, optimization, and long-term customer success.
• You’re comfortable acting as a technical advisor , working with both internal teams and external clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deploying, configuring, and optimizing enterprise Genetec systems and peripherals (access control, video, analytics, and more).
• Auditing existing deployments and recommending improvements or redesigns.
• Acting as a technical lead on client projects, from kickoff to handover.
• Supporting custom integrations and automation developed by our internal dev team.
• Providing Tier 2/3 support , identifying root causes of performance issues, and helping customers get the most out of their systems.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years working hands-on with enterprise security systems (especially Genetec).
• Strong grasp of networking fundamentals , Windows Servers, and SQL.
• Experience working with enterprise clients — hospitals, utilities, higher ed, airports, etc.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and working independently.
• A desire to grow into a customer-facing role that includes project delivery, optimization, and advisory .

Nice to Have:

• Genetec certifications
• Experience with scripting, automation, or video analytics
• French proficiency (bilingual is a bonus)
