Nokia Staff Optical Design Engineer

Lead performance testing for Nokia's next generation coherent linecards as a Staff Optical Design Verification Test Engineer. - Develop and execute detailed test plans and validation strategies
- Lead complex investigations and recommend innovative solutions
- Verify optical performance including OSNR and signal quality metrics
- Automate testing processes through robust Python scripts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance issues
- MS or PhD in Optical or Electrical Engineering
- 3 years in coherent optical communication
- Proficient in DSP and optical technologies
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment
- Strong Python programming skills for automation
