Dans ce rôle, vous pourriez être appelé à effectuer des tâches d’agent de livraison sur appel OU de commis des postes sur appel :
• Agent de livraison sur appel (aussi appelé facteur). Vous serez le visage de Postes Canada dans votre collectivité et veillerez à ce que les clients et les entreprises reçoivent le courrier et les colis qu’ils attendent.
• Commis des postes sur appel : vous aurez l’occasion de travailler divers quarts de travail, y compris les jours, les soirs, les nuits et les fins de semaine. Ce poste temporaire sur appel est une excellente occasion d’en apprendre davantage au sujet des opérations postales et des occasions intéressantes d’emploi à Postes Canada.
Responsabilités professionnelles
En tant qu’agent de livraison, que ferez-vous?
• Vous commencerez votre journée au poste de facteurs pour faire le tri et la préparation du courrier à livrer durant la journée.
• Vous devrez charger et conduire un véhicule postal de Postes Canada.
• Vous passerez ensuite la majeure partie de la journée dehors à livrer du courrier et des paquets aux clients, à pied ou dans un véhicule.
• Vous reviendrez ensuite au poste de facteurs pour décharger le courrier d’arrivée et les paquets de la journée aux fins de livraison ultérieure.

En tant que commis des postes, que ferez-vous?
• Vous travaillerez dans une installation de tri et trierez le courrier et les paquets.
• Vous aurez divers quarts de travail (cela peut comprendre les soirées, les nuits et les fins de semaine).
• Vous utiliserez de l’équipement motorisé de manutention.
• Vous réceptionnerez et accepterez les articles de courrier.
• Vous trierez le courrier, en ferez le tri séquentiel et vous le mettrez en lots.
• Vous devrez transférer et expédier les colis et les paquets.
• Vous effectuerez d’autres tâches relevant des commis des postes, au besoin.
• Vous remplirez des rapports et des documents.
Critères d’admissibilité
Lesquelles devez-vous posséder?
• Un permis de conduire valide de classe 5 ou G avec un bon dossier de conduite automobile depuis au moins trois années (dossier de conduite requis).
• Capacité de soulever des articles de courrier pesant jusqu’à 22,7 kg (50 lb) et de transporter des articles pesant jusqu’à 15,9 kg (35 lb) régulièrement durant la journée.
• La capacité de travailler dans toutes sortes de conditions météorologiques.
• Disponibilité sur appel, possiblement les soirs et les fins de semaine
• Bilinguisme (anglais et français), à l’oral comme à l’écrit.

• Expérience en service à la clientèle.
• Expérience de livraison ou en tant que conducteur.
• Expérience de travail dans un milieu de production, un atout.
