Patient Hospitality Coordinator

Job Responsibility:
Care Dental in Pandosy Village (2691 Pandosy Street)is seeking a #flossome, Patient Hospitality Coordinator to join our growing team. Full time hours - Sunday to Wednesday.
The Care Director is the first face patients see as they enter the practice. You are warm, professional, friendly and greet everyone like family. In fact, at Care Dental, we think of all of our patients like family. Someone who is genuinely caring with a solid background in hospitality, administration & appointment scheduling will thrive in this position. Dental experience is a strong bonus but not required as full training is provided. Excellent position with growth opportunities for those interested in beginning a career in the personally rewarding and fun industry of dental.
Duties include:
*Opening the practice @ 7:30am,
*Greeting patients and getting them seamlessly checked in for their booking (medical & intake forms completed),
*Answering the telephone, managing inquiries and basic scheduling,
*Managing the spa-inspired elements of the practice (music, diffusers, etc.),
*Making a delicious mint tea, or cucumber-infused ice water,
*Lead on appointment confirmations & hygiene insurance coverage,
*Making sure the Welcome Lounge is tidy & properly set-up for the optimal patient experience,
*Contacting insurance companies to get & input insurance plan information,
*Miscellaneous admin assistant-type tasks as required,
*Light house-keeping duties,
*Some assistance with social media posts.
Experience with ClearDent software is an advantage but willing to train the right person. This is generally a hybrid sitting & standing/moving position so must be ok being on your feet for some stretches of time.
