About Collective Impact

Collective Impact is a growing, producer-driven organization dedicated to advancing regenerative agriculture across the Prairies. We work alongside producers, researchers, industry, and government partners to deliver practical, field-scale research, sustainability initiatives, and innovative programs that improve farm profitability, resilience, and environmental outcomes. Through trusted relationships, on-farm innovation, and knowledge sharing, we're helping shape the future of agriculture—one farm at a time.

About The Role

As the Agronomy & Producer Engagement Specialist, you'll play a key role in delivering regenerative agriculture, sustainability, and research initiatives across Northeastern Saskatchewan. This will include:

Program Development & Partnership Management

  • Assist in the development, coordination, and delivery of regenerative agriculture and sustainability programs, including the Model Farm Network, Northern Plains Program, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with producers, researchers, industry partners, and the business development team to design, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve programs.
  • Support program planning, budgeting, reporting, documentation, grant applications, and funding proposals to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and assist in the development of new research, funding, business, and partnership opportunities that align with Collective Impact's mission.

Research, Innovation & Data Management

  • Coordinate and deliver on-farm agronomic research, field-scale trials, sustainability initiatives, and carbon programs, including assisting with the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of projects at the Proof of Concept Field and producer demonstration sites.
  • Coordinate with technical partners to ensure high-quality project execution, data collection, and monitoring across Northeastern Saskatchewan.
  • Install, maintain, and operate field monitoring equipment, including weather stations, soil moisture probes, and other technologies.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate agronomic, environmental, and sustainability data through technical reports and presentations.

Producer Engagement & Knowledge Transfer

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with producers, agronomists, researchers, and industry partners while recruiting and supporting participants in Collective Impact programs.
  • Provide practical agronomic guidance on regenerative agriculture practices tailored to individual farm operations.
  • Share research findings and program outcomes through field tours, demonstration events, workshops, conferences, producer meetings, and other industry events.

Communications & Professional Development

  • Develop marketing materials, videos, newsletters, educational resources, and producer success stories that promote Collective Impact's research and sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist with equipment logistics, demonstrations, rentals, and operation as required.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with agronomic research, sustainability initiatives, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

· Post-secondary education in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

· Strong understanding of crop production, soil health, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable farming systems.

· Experience coordinating agricultural research, field trials, or producer-focused programs is considered an asset.

· Established network of agricultural producers and industry professionals, particularly within Northeastern Saskatchewan, is preferred.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with producers, researchers, industry partners, and government organizations.

· Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

· Experience collecting, managing, and interpreting agronomic and environmental data.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital agricultural technologies.

· Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a willingness to travel throughout Northeastern Saskatchewan and work outdoors during the growing season.

· Self-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about advancing regenerative agriculture and producer success.
