Lead Mechanical Engineer - HVAC Projects

Join Worley as a Lead Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC in Edmonton or Calgary, AB. Take charge of HVAC system design and execution for significant industrial projects.
In this Senior Mechanical Engineer position, your responsibilities will include overseeing HVAC engineering activities from concept to completion. You will ensure designs meet compliance standards, while guiding junior engineers and coordinating efforts across disciplines to achieve project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review HVAC design specifications and calculations
• Lead the creation of HVAC system layouts
• Conduct field visits to support projects
• Ensure adherence to project and client specifications
• Mentor junior engineers on HVAC best practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration or eligibility
• Extensive HVAC engineering experience
• Familiarity with building codes like SMACNA and CSA
• Background in oil & gas and energy transition sectors
Drive innovation and quality in HVAC engineering with Worley.
