Winter Sports School Sales Agent

We are looking to fill the position of WSS Sales Agent at Fernie Alpine Resort . Reporting to the WSS Director, this full-time winter seasonal position requires the ideal candidate to have winter sports school experience, strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. We focus on building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with our staff and guests and encourage you to come join our team and enjoy perks such as discounts on lodging and lessons, endless ski/snowboard privileges, employee events, food and beverage discounts, and much much more!

You Will:

• Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
• Assist and upsell guests at every opportunity
• Manage cash handling and reconciliations
• Have an in-depth accurate knowledge of all WSS products and resort events
• Enter all bookings into the resort WSS software program
• Answer telephone and email information requests for all lesson and product inquiries
• Create an atmosphere of relationship building for the guests at initiation of sales and inquiry process
• Maintain and abide by RCR Procedure and Policy and Safety Management Program
• Assist WSS Supervisors in organization of instructing staff
• Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
• Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

You Have :

• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• POS system and cash handling/reconciliation experience
• Ski or Snowboard instructor certification (an asset)
• Excellent computer skills
• Experience with Paradocs software (an asset)
• Previous experience in a similar role (an asset)
