FirstOntario Credit Union is seeking a Vice President to helm its Wealth Management unit in Stoney Creek, Ontario. This leadership role encompasses a strategic focus on financial planning services, mutual fund sales, and advisory solutions. You will oversee team development, sales management, and community initiatives, ensuring adherence to compliance and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement wealth management sales strategy
• Oversee financial planning and investment advisory services
• Lead team development and compensation modeling
• Manage compliance, marketing, and sales functions
• Foster community relationships through events and networking
Requirements:
• 10-15 years of leadership in Wealth Management
• Relevant financial certification (CFP, CIM, CFA)
• Strong analytical and business development skills
• Proven experience mentoring high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
