Hours & Compensation

Permanent Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 25 hours per week

Pay Rate: $24.30 per hour

This is a unionized position and is subject to the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement with Unifor Local302.

preparing daily nutritious lunch and snacks to children aged 1 to 5 years attending the Bridge St. childcare centre.

  • Knowledge of Canada Food Guide & nutritional cooking practices.
  • Knowledge of Early Childhood Development
  • Awareness of various food intolerances and allergies.
  • Experience working with children (an asset)
  • Organizational skills to effectively and efficiently manage kitchen routines.
  • High standards of sanitary policies and practices in compliance with Health Department requirements.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check documentation
  • Safe Food Handlers Training Certificate
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
