Job : In collaboration with physicians and the Primary Care Team, the Nurse Practitioner will provide primary health care services to several communities. This includes: health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services; collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; conducting community needs assessments and participating in evaluative projects. The incumbent reports to the Director of Primary Care.

- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)
Licenses
- Registered Nurse Practitioner (RN(NP))
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in community development and facilitation strategies
- Knowledge in research processes and program evaluation
- Knowledge in conflict resolution techniques
- Knowledge in principles/practices/concepts of primary health care
Other Information
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
