We are looking for a Manager of Sales Operations - a skilled individual responsible for managing and mentoring Southmedic Customer Service Representatives and supporting the everyday sales operations as it relates to inventory management. The manager will work closely with the sales team to facilitate the writing of, execution of and daily management of sales policies.

What You Will Do

• Managing and mentoring Southmedic Customer Service (CS) Representatives, including the CS Supervisor and Sales Support Coordinator.
• Improve order processing procedures as it pertains to manual processes and transition to a more automated and streamlined approach.
• Interface with, distributors, customers, co-workers, sales reps in a courteous, professional manner regarding products, orders, CRM tracking, and other issues that may arise from time to time.
• Daily open order reporting.
• Strong emphasis on OTD (on-time delivery) metrics, and aligning the team to the corporate metrics
• Customer Service Representative training and support
• Stock allocation, customer delivery dates, safety stock & inventory discrepancies
• Monthly reporting for CS measures
• Documentation of distribution records - historical & recall dates
• Support Canadian Strategic Sales & Distribution and Canadian Sales Reps
• Support initiation of launch of new products from a sales operations perspective.
• Support Sales Executives in Fiscal and monthly Sales Forecasting.
• Ensure that all business is performed with an attention to detail and is done in accordance with the Southmedic Quality System, mission values.
• Communicate goals, updates, news with external Southmedic employees, while keeping the internal team up to date and enhance communication between departments.
• Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts. As needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders.
• Monitors, measures and communicates the status of metrics against customer-based initiatives and expected impact to near- and long-term demand to the sales team.
• Prepares additional analyses and reports as required

What We Need

• University Degree
• 5+ years of experience managing a team
• Highly developed skills are required in all Microsoft platforms
• Must understand CRM, with an ability to learn and adapt quickly to new processes.

• They must have the ability to professionally and calmly manage situations that require conflict resolutions and possess good communication skills.

• Bilingual, or French speaking is an asset.
