Senior Program Manager, Commercials, Prime Video Marketing

Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios

Overview

Come build the future of entertainment with us. Are you interested in shaping the future of movies and television? Do you want to define the next generation of how and what Amazon customers are watching?

Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers customers a vast collection of TV shows and movies – all with the ease of finding what they love to watch in one place. Members can subscribe to add‑on channels, rent or buy new releases, and shop the Prime Video Store. Prime Video is a fast‑paced, growth business available in over 200 countries and territories worldwide. Our team works in a dynamic environment where innovating on behalf of our customers is at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

  • Run programs that improve media financial operations across 20+ countries — from invoicing and billing to budget tracking and reconciliation
  • Identify manual processes and either automate them or move them to offshore teams
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships to negotiate better rates, secure credits, and test new commercial models
  • Build and maintain program roadmaps and keep senior leaders informed on progress
  • Own billing operations and financial governance across markets
  • Create frameworks that help the team make commercial decisions consistently across countries

Day in the Life

You might start the morning resolving a billing issue with a vendor in Brazil that has different tax requirements to the rest of the region. By mid‑morning, you are reviewing automation metrics with the agency team to check whether a new invoicing workflow is actually saving time. After lunch, you join a call with a media partner to negotiate better terms for next quarter. Later, you update your program roadmap, flag a blocker to senior leadership, and spend the last hour working with a tech team on how an AI tool could replace a manual reconciliation process.

About The Team

As part of Prime Video International's organisation, our team supports marketing strategy and paid media across 19 countries in Europe, Latin America, and Canada. We have team members in London, Toronto, São Paulo, Miami, Mexico City, and other locations. We work closely with agency partners WPP and OMG who execute our media plans, as well as media partners like Meta and TikTok. The media operations team supports this by managing the processes, tooling, and data that keep campaigns, vendor relationships, and financial operations running at scale — so media managers can focus on making better decisions for the Prime Video brand.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 5+ years of working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams
  • Experience managing vendor or agency relationships, including contract negotiations or commercial terms

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Experience managing media, advertising, or marketing operations budgets and financial workflows
  • Experience working with media agencies (e.g., WPP, OMG) or media vendor management
  • Experience with AI/automation tools applied to financial or operational workflows
