We are hiring a Retail Manager, Grocery at our Lougheed PriceSmart Foods location in Burnaby, BC.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, and the successful applicant must have open availability.
You will be responsible for
Leading a team, acting as a coach, mentor, and resource to team members.
Fostering a positive environment that is focused on Always Customer First service.
Holding departments accountable for operational standards.
Supporting the store’s management team with team member relations.
Communicating key messages to the store’s management team and team members.
Fostering relationships with suppliers on product assortment and achieve better costing.
Assist in creating merchandising plans from previous experience and knowledge of the department(s).
Using knowledge of the community, competitive environment, and industry to develop entrepreneurial strategies to grow the business.
Ensuring accurate stocktaking in the department(s).
You have
A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a customer service environment.
Food Safe Certification.
A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
Post-Secondary education with a business focus (considered an asset).
Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese (considered an asset).

Compensation Details
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
