About the role  

We’re looking for a Mid to Senior Digital Designer to join our creative team and help shape the visual world of DAVIDsTEA across organic social. You’ll bring ideas to life through scroll stopping, culturally relevant and highly engaging content designed to strengthen our brand and connect with our community.

You’ll be hands on from concept to execution, creating polished, on brand assets across our social channels while ensuring every piece feels distinctly DAVIDsTEA and optimized for the platform and audience. You’ll collaborate closely with the social, marketing and creative teams to translate campaigns, product stories, cultural moments and trends into compelling visual experiences.

While organic social will be your primary focus, you’ll also have opportunities to contribute to select digital and print projects, including campaigns, packaging and in store experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce a wide range of digital assets including paid + organic social content, and UI elements.
• Create motion graphics and edit video assets using After Effects to bring campaigns to life.
• Edit and retouch photos for use across digital campaigns and platforms.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality creative that drives results.
• Adapt creative concepts across multiple channels while ensuring consistency and performance.
• Prepare production-ready files for delivery across digital platforms.
• Support print projects when needed, including packaging design, in-store signage, and production-ready print assets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital design experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or agency environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital campaigns, emails, social, motion design, and UI work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
• Experience with motion design, animation, and production workflows.
• Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills.
• Some experience in print design and production (packaging, in-store signage, or POP assets) is an asset.
• Ability to work quickly, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail.
