Work location: Mississauga, ON

Job Description

• Complete engineering designs and drawings packages by using AutoCAD;
• Complete document control, submissions and management;
• Coordinate project work with the team lead, other engineering disciplines and project manager;
• Perform other administrative and technical functions in support of engineering activities;
• Liaise with engineering, document control and ISO quality control standards for compliance.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent;
• Recent graduate or up to 3 years of relevant experience in protection and control design/drafting;
• Basic understanding of electrical single-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, connection wiring diagrams, elementary wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and cable lists;
• Knowledge of electrical and telecommunications drafting principles;
• Familiar with engineering standards, manufacture’s drawings and meridian document management system;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and Word.
