Lead greenhouse harvesting and crop handling at Rubicon Organics’ Pacifica facility in Delta, BC, using agricultural planning and workforce management expertise.The Farm Operations Manager oversees harvesting, crop handling, and preparation for subsequent production activities. This hands-on agricultural leader coordinates with Cultivation, Quality, and Maintenance teams. The position manages crop quality, production performance, resources, and compliant farm operations.Key Responsibilities:
Plan daily greenhouse harvesting and crop handling operationsDevelop schedules using crop maturity and workforce availabilityDirect cutting, collection, transfer, sorting, and initial handlingMonitor yields, efficiency, crop quality, and schedule adherenceLead supervisors and coordinate cross-functional agricultural activitiesRequirements:
Five-plus years in agricultural or greenhouse operationsThree-plus years leading people in agricultural environmentsExperience coordinating production schedules and workforce requirementsUnderstanding of greenhouse production and crop handling proceduresProficiency with Excel, inventory systems, and reporting toolsBring greenhouse production, harvesting leadership, and crop quality expertise to Rubicon Organics’ regulated agricultural operations in Delta.
