Civil Project Engineer at ONxpress

Elevate your engineering career with ONxpress as a Civil Project Engineer. This hands-on role at the Construction Technical Office focuses on bridging design and construction, ensuring safety and quality on major civils sites. As a key player within the newly formed Construction Technical Office, you will serve as an on-site project engineer, engaging directly with the design management and construction teams. Your expertise will be crucial for resolving technical issues and aligning project deliverables with safety, quality, and performance standards. This position calls for a skilled engineer with a wealth of experience in heavy civil and transportation infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Review design deliverables for completeness and compliance
- Perform reviews of ITPs, RFIs, and shop drawings
- Engage with designers to clarify design intent
- Coordinate third-party temporary works designs
- Provide daily technical support at multiple sites
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 12+ years in civil engineering and construction
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Proficient in engineering and project tools
